1 Bag 5 Dinners

One of my friends, Alicia, and her husband are trying to save some money and are making a lot of their meals at home. She's a mom of a 1 yr. old and is a college professor so yeah - she probably doesn't have much time on her hands. I suggested she try Kraft's 1 Bag 5 Dinners. It's your recipe plan for the entire week! They provide a shopping list (not too many items on it) and then the recipes for that week (as well as the nutrional info). You can choose chicken and beef recipes, chicken and pork recipes, chicken and seafood recipes. They also have a healthy food bag as well. You get the idea. Also, dinner on Friday is always a pizza. So, if either you're low on time, low on money, and/or low on ideas for meals - This is it. Now, these meals do feed 4, so for singles - well, this could feed me for almost 2 weeks if I eat it for lunch and dinner. Oh, Alicia mentioned that Kraft almost always has coupons for its products, a double treat! 1 Bag 5 Dinners

Let me know what you think. I'd also like to know how you plan your meals at home and how do you get yourself in the mood to cook when you're only cooking for one.

I simply don't.
Meaning I don't get myself in the mood to cook for one.
I eat a lot of Lean Cuisine - which I'm starting to hate.
When I work - I eat lunch out, because since I don't cook I don't have leftovers to take for lunch. I even budget lunches out into my budget. I aim for under $10 per lunch.
I know I would save a lot of money if I cooked but it's just too much trouble.
At most, I steam vegetables or make rice - but then I go to bed hungry.

And I don't like sandwiches much. I kinda Overdosed on sandwiches in my 20s

Any suggestions are welcome. 1 bag five meals sounds great - if it's food that won't go bad while I take 3 weeks to make everything!!!
